Community Outreach Program Engagement and Education

Public Health—Community Outreach Program Engagement and Education (COPE) program is a collaboration between the Merced County Department of Public Health and Behavioral Health and Recover Services to improve access and integration of mental health with physical health care services, collaborate with community partners and primary health care providers.

The goal is to provide outreach services, with attention to low-income, Hispanic and Southeast Asian mentally ill populations in order to provide health education and promote engagement in the mental health service delivery system.

Public Health—Cope provides healthier living workshops to communities in Merced County. All classes offered in English and Spanish.
