Omar Salas

Omar Salas is a Staff Services Analyst for Merced County Probation. He began his career with Merced County in 2013 after graduating cum laude from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

Since joining Merced County in 2013, Omar has gained experience working in various accounting roles for Child Support Services, Recorder, Human Services Agency, and Probation. On September 2019, Omar was promoted to Staff Services Analyst where he is assigned to help oversee fiscal and human resources related functions.
