• The Merced County Genealogical Society – A genealogy collection is maintained in the Genealogy Room, where volunteers are available to help the public upon request. Contact: (209) 385-7484.
• The Merced County Courthouse Museum is located next door to the library at 21st and N Streets. The museum has a research room open Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, or by appointment at (209) 723-1307.
