Street Lights

Report a Problem

To report a street light outage or a malfunctioning street light in the unincorporated areas of Merced County, please call (209) 385-7601. An online Street Light Service Request form is also available for reporting street light problems.

When calling or submitting online, please provide the location, pole number (located on the front of the street light pole), and a brief description of the problem.

Repair Time

Street lights are normally repaired within three business days once the County is notified.

Street lights that are owned and operated by PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) or TID (Turlock Irrigation District) may take longer to be repaired.
