Child Protection

The Children's Services Branch (CSB) is charged with protecting the safety and well-being of all children in the community. CSB investigates all referrals of alleged child abuse or neglect that occurs in the home. When a family becomes involved with CSB, they may work with several social workers. Different services will be offered to both the parent and the child depending upon each family's special needs.

Services provided by CSB include:

  • Emergency Food and Shelter
  • Family Reunification
  • Permanency Planning
  • Family Maintenance
  • Parenting Education
  • Home Visiting and Stabilization
  • Anger Management
