Public Survey Period Open Through June 18th

Merced County Library

The Merced County Library wants to hear from residents to help guide its 2021-2024 Strategic Plan.

Surveys will be available to all residents online and at library branches until June 18. Library staff members are hoping to solicit the participation of people from all regions and all segments of the population. The Library will use survey results to help guide the Department’s work as it positions services to better meet the needs of the community.

“We strive to play a vital role in the continued strengthening of the communities we serve and the Strategic Plan will help guide decisions to ensure we do so,” said Amy Taylor, County Librarian.

Library staff will also visit various locations within the County to elicit participation from as many residents as possible.

“Community partnerships will play a critical role to ensure we reach non-library users and listen to their voices, too,” said Chairman Daron McDaniel of the Merced County Board of Supervisors. “We’re always trying to find ways to improve our services, and this is a major component of that.”

The survey is available in English and Spanish.
